Jonathan found a fantastic study for the show this week. A group of students did a study on call scammers. Yep, those annoying people who call you trying to scam you one way or another. It was quite interesting, and I’m glad we were able to cover it.
We had a rather hilarious start to the show due to a miss-set queue in the system, so we started the show with a commercial. Whoops! This almost never happens, but hey, you gotta fumble once in a while.
I will have to thank Sugidono for introducing me to https://stocksnap.io/. Creative Commons photography? Oh, yes please. I really like the stuff from https://openclipart.org/ but I much prefer photos.
I’m trying to figure out more guests to get on the show for the future, and Dan B. wants to come back. Dan Bigalow is our security expert, and is an excellent counterpoint for many conversations. John Scalzi and Phil Plaitt seem quite busy, so I’m not sure whether or not I’m even going to bother asking them at this point. I am trying to figure out whether or not I should ask some sculptors who made the jump from traditional modeling to 3d.
