Q&A Presents: Oct. 22, 2016

Today’s show was on the Distributed Denial of Service attack (DDoS) that started on Friday and I think is still going on. Each infected machine (and literally “machine” this time – computers, DVRs, cameras, etc., could contribute) was a snowflake in an avalanche attacking Dyn, a company that’s effectively the white pages for the vast chunks of the internet.

Not the most fun show we’ve had, but still useful.

I didn’t get around to more live-streaming experiments today, sadly.
